“Ger, My Head In My Own Hands” is the sequel to the documentary ‘My Head In Your Hands” in which Ger, a former nursing teacher is followed as a critical Alzheimers patient.

Ger‘s challenges are to still be useful and contribute to society, to deal with his environment, to gain control of financial and personal matters, (such as sexuality) and other issues around his disease. What to settle at the notary, with family, caregivers, with yourself? These questions play an essential role in this film.

On 11th of january Ger, his daughter Meike and documentary maker Pim Giel were invited at the popular Dutch tv-show RTL Late Night hosted by Humberto Tan.
